Hey guys. I'm heading over to the FD NBA but wanted to get something out early for you guys before I do. Here's my cheat sheet based on info available early. Be sure to watch for news today as I am writing this before any real info is known from a first look perspective. Good luck to the “Friends of Ours” in the #EliteMafia playing for big money today. Hope one of those Goodfellas takes it down.

 Bryce's NBA Rundown - 3/25
Posted by Bryce Mauro on Saturday, March 25, 2017 - 16:49

As always, the rundown is designed to give you an opinion on some different players or situations in the slate today. You need to be reacting to news throughout the day. Always keep an eye on Twitter for the most up-to-date information. The idea is not that you use ONLY players from this article to build your lineups, but rather ALL of our content and optimizer. If you’re trying to only use players under the “cash” section to build your cash lineups for instance, you’re going to have a hard time. Instead, use some of those players as building blocks and fill in around them...

 Thad Houston's DFS Plays - 3/25
Posted by Thad Houston on Saturday, March 25, 2017 - 15:24

Ugh. Do you smell that? That, my friends, is the unforgettable stench of tonight's 4 game main slate. The combination of a short slate, multiple tough matchups and lack of attractive Vegas odds makes for a stinky stew. Throw in the lack of value plays across the industry and you're flirting with a toxic level of hot garbage. You kind of get used to the smell the longer you hang around, but if you opt to crack a window while reading this article I won't be offended. I can only hold my breath for so long, so I'm keeping today's write up short and sweet...

Brooklyn Nets @ Washington Wizards

Vegas: Wizards -12, O/U: 225

Wizards: 11th Pace, 5th scoring, 9th most points allowed

Nets: Fastest Pace, 13th scoring, most points allowed

John Wall - I prefer Wall in cash to tourneys today. He has three games of 50+ against Brooklyn this year already and I can easily see a fourth coming tonight. This is a very soft matchup at a high pace with a high total. I do not think he has elite upside here though, but I cannot see him having a bad game. I like him in cash, but am not using him in tourneys.

Bradley Beal - Beal has also averaged over 40 in two meetings with the Nets this year. I like him as well for many of the same reasons just discussed with Wall. Beal is cheaper and usually more scoring dependent. In a game with a huge total, scoring dependency is not a bad thing.

Vegas: Nets -4, O/U: 223

Nets: Fastest pace, 13th scoring, most points allowed

Suns: T-2nd pace, 10th scoring, 2nd most points allowed

Brook Lopez - Lopez is the big time scorer on this Nets team. This is a paced-up game with two bad defenses that should feature a ton of points. Neither team is good at defending interior bigs, and the Suns are worse now that they exiled Tyson Chandler. This should be another big scoring game for Brook Lopez.

Caris LeVert - LeVert has been seeing a little over half a game at the SG spot for the Nets. He has upside and safety at his dirt-cheap price in a paced up spot like this.

Charlotte Hornets @ Orlando Magic

Vegas: Hornets -5, O/U: 207

Hornets: 19th Pace, 15th scoring, 9th fewest points allowed

Magic: 15th Pace, 29th scoring, 10th most points allowed

Nikola Vucevic - This is a great matchup for him against a weak interior defense that struggles to contain big men. Vucevic has been on a tear lately too, with back-to-back games just shy of 50 DK points. He’s the main scorer and this is too good a spot to ignore.
