Chicago Bulls @ Toronto Raptors

Vegas: Raptors -6, O/U: 201.5

Bulls: 21st Pace, 25th Scoring, 8th fewest points allowed

Raptors: 22nd Pace, 10th scoring, 7th fewest points allowed

Jimmy Butler - This is not an ideal matchup, but Butler is easily the guy with the most upside on Chicago. With Wade out, he is asked to do more and has produced two solid games in a row. He is not my favorite guy to spend on today due to the matchup and projected pace, but he is still the likeliest high scorer from this game.

Robin Lopez - The price point here seems too cheap for what Lopez has done the last few games. He followed up a 45-fantasy point performance with another 26 last game. The key is that he played 30 minutes in each of these. His minutes are up, which makes this sustainable and makes Lopez a decent salary saver.

 Jefe's NBA Rundown - 3/20
Posted by Jeff Collins on Monday, March 20, 2017 - 17:12

As always, the rundown is designed to give you an opinion on some different players or situations in the slate today. You need to be reacting to news throughout the day. Always keep an eye on Twitter for the most up-to-date information. The idea is not that you use ONLY players from this article to build your lineups, but rather ALL of our content and optimizer. If you’re trying to only use players under the “cash” section to build your cash lineups for instance, you’re going to have a hard time. Instead, use some of those players as building blocks and fill in around them.

Overview: A big thing that stands out to me today is that Atlanta will be without two starters that play a lot of minutes: Millsap and Bazemore. A lot of fantasy points come from those two guys, so I’ll be targeting the Hawks heavily. The obvious guys will be Prince and Ilyasova, though I’m excited about it solidifying Howard’s minutes in a great matchup too. Westbrook versus Curry will be fun tonight! I like Westbrook, but prefer to get Harden in there if I had to choose one.

Atlanta Hawks @ charlotte Hornets

Vegas: Hornets -6, O/U: 203

Hawks: 10th Pace, 21st scoring, 11th fewest points allowed

Hornets: 18th Pace, 16th Scoring, 9th fewest points allowed

Hawks Injury Notes: Paul Millsap is out. Ersan Ilyasova should draw the start and put p a pretty good game in his absence.

Dwight Howard - Ersan plays more on the perimeter, which should leave Howard as the lone bog man in the paint today. Charlotte is weak against interior big men anyway, so this should be a big time rebounding game for Howard.

Taurean Prince - He has played about 30 minutes in each of the last two games and produced well with the court time he has seen. On DK he is dirt cheap at $3500 and makes for a solid salary saver who can return 6X or better.

Indiana Pacers @ Toronto Raptors

(-3.5, O/U 201.5)

Cory Joseph - Really cheap (PG/SG eligible on DK $4800) - Faces a weak Pacers D, Teague is not a shutdown defender, the game is up in pace, and has been paying off 5-6X lately. DeRozan is struggling and no one else is really scoring for them. Joseph should do enough to continue to make decent value.

Paul George - Been beasting lately (45 DK points per game last 10). Has had some big upside games too, like the 57 he hung up last time out. Offensively, he has to carry the load. Thad Young, Teague, and whichever shooting guard they play all suck right now, so who else is going to score besides him and Turner?

 Thad Houston's DFS Plays - 3/18
Posted by Thad Houston on Saturday, March 18, 2017 - 14:17

What's up y'all? Tonight we have a 6 game main slate in the NBA. There are 2 games that tip off prior to 7 PM EST, so I won’t include players from those teams. If I went over each and every play the games would be over so I’ll touch on a few of my favorite plays at each position...

Chicago Bulls @ Washington Wizards

Vegas: N/A

Bulls: 20th Pace, 26th Scoring, 7th fewest points allowed

Wizards: 11th Pace, 5th Scoring, 8th most points allowed

Jimmy Butler - With Wade now done for the year, Butler is back to being the main offensive threat. He struggled last time out, but we can excuse a poor offensive performance against the Grizzlies. He has faced Washington twice this year and put up 40 and 66 fantasy points against them. I am not using him in cash, but he is a viable tournament option.

Rajon Rondo - The price is jumped out, that is the bad thing. The good thing is with Jerian Grant out, he is seeing big minutes against and producing. He had about 40 in each of his last two games and that is very solid production for his price.

Yesterday was rough. I only rolled one lineup out and had a ton of Hornets in my lineup, so I was dead right off the bat. I still think it was the right move, but when a team only scores 77 points and gets blown out, there’s no chance that they are going to be good plays. We should be able to bounce back today on a totally different slate. There’s a lot of value out there and it’s a really good slate for cash games. I’m going back to the old article format at least for now...

Point Guard

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Toronto Raptors

Vegas: Raptors -2.5, O/U: 208

Thunder: 7th Pace, 11th Scoring, 12 most points allowed

Raptors: 22nd Pace, 10th Scoring, 8th fewest points allowed

Russell Westbrook - I know this is a not an ideal matchup for him. I also do not care and neither does Russ. Utah was not an ideal matchup either and he hung up 75+ on them twice in the last two weeks. He also did miss value against Dallas and San Antonio by a little, but still turned in 65 and 50+ fantasy points in those games. It is tough to really call that a bad game, but that only highlights how good Westbrook has been.
