The Sweet Spot - The Masters

In order, I like JT, Spieth, DJ, Tiger, but it’s more of a 1a thru 1c with the first three. DJ’s game has been off since the win at Kapalua. I’m not weighing his performance at the WGC at all because he was playing super aggressive and once he got down early he didn’t give a flying f*ck – he should be the lowest owned of this group. Tiger is a fade from a DFS perspective, but as a fan, I hope he wins. Spieth and JT are the wild cards from this group and I could see either or both finishing in the Top 5 come Sunday.

  • Justin Thomas ($10,800 DK / $11,800 FD): 20-25% exposure –Thomas looked gassed at the Match Play as expected, but fought through the 3rd-place match to a decent finish. The way he’s dominating the Tour this year is very similar to how DJ was dominating last year coming in and had he not fell down the stairs, I think we would’ve seen a different outcome. While JT isn’t my pick to win, I think he makes for a nice semi-contrarian play at the top of the board because people could talk themselves out of playing him again this week (I’ve done this multiple times for no good reason and am finally taking a stand against that mentality this week) and he does have win equity as he won as recently as the Honda Classic and is already a major champion.
