Tonight’s NHL playoff slate features three games, with lock coming at 7:00pm ET. I will break down my favorite GPP stacks into three categories: chalk, contrarian and value plays – and follow them up with my favorite goalies and cash plays. As always, feel free to send me any comments/questions/suggestions on Twitter.

Tuesday’s DFS NHL slate will feature three games in the First Round of the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs. It’ll kickoff with a 7:30 PM ET/4:30 PM PT roster lock.

Once again, my write-ups this postseason will be heavily centered on GPP tournaments. I’ll walk you through the recommended line stacks and goalies for each game, providing Stack Rankings and Goalie Plays.

COLUMBUS BLUE JACKETS AT WASHINGTON CAPITALS – GAME 3 (7:30 PM ET)

CBJ leads 2-0

Washington’s team defense is getting extremely exposed in this series, in which they have given up two leads, and given up nine goals against. Quite frankly, it’s hard for me to really believe that they’re going to be able to lock things down tonight, on the road in Columbus.

 Ryan's NHL DFS Playoff Breakdown - 4/16

Tonight’s NHL playoff slate features four games, with lock coming at 7:00pm ET. I will breakdown my favorite GPP stacks into three categories: chalk, contrarian and value plays – and follow them up with my favorite goalies and cash plays. As always, feel free to send me any comments/questions/suggestions on Twitter.

NOTE: Joey Anderson (NJ – W) is listed on Fanduel tonight for $0. Although he isn’t playing, you can still roster him and pay up at your other spots. I personally don’t think it gives much of an advantage one way or the other, as you still need your other players to hit value – but it’s fun to play around with, regardless.

 Nick's NHL DFS Playoff Breakdown - 4/12

What up, #EliteMafia! Playoff hockey is here and I’m pumped! Get that popcorn ready because this postseason is going to be a ton of fun to keep up with.

I’m going to do things differently than I did in the regular season. I’m going to do a game-by-game breakdown and write what I’m thinking about each matchup. I’ll also include players I’m looking to target.

GAME-BY-GAME BREAKDOWN

Boston Bruins vs. Toronto Maple Leafs

This is one of the tougher matchups for me to figure out. Both these teams have depth and are teams along with Pittsburgh that I believe have the best shot of reaching the Stanley Cup Finals from the Eastern Conference.

Wednesday’s DFS NHL slate will be centered on the first three games of the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs. It’ll kickoff with a 7:00 PM ET/4:00 PM ET roster lock.

So the big boss decided to overrule what I said on Saturday’s Cash Breakdown. Our new plan for the Playoffs is that we’ll have one write up for any slate with three games or more. The write up will definitely be geared towards GPP tournaments because cash games are extremely volatile with these smaller slates.

I’ll walk you through the recommended line stacks and goalies for each game.
