How to read Madlab’s Labology

To all of the subscribers that have been with me for the past few years, I want to thank you for allowing me to do what I absolutely love to do. There is nothing better for me then to watch you all elevate your knowledge and DK play like you all have. For all the new people that have joined us in 2018, I would like to welcome you all to the family, and I am hoping to do the same for all of you as well. As you will soon come to find out, Our MMA family is much different than most. It feels like a family and not just a group of people reading articles and setting lineups. I have seen so many subs that have never watched MMA before grow through my education that I offer as well as take the baton and run with it doing their own research.  I really believe that the reason we have the largest MMA community by far is due to the fact that we give you real education that you can’t get from someone that maybe just started breaking MMA down since DraftKings launched it.

 UFC 225 - 6/8

This card is matched up so amazing and the fights are going to be extremely challenging for all fighters. It seems that there is a clear path here with the way they matched these up. The Theme seems to be Young Lions vs Old Lions and the style matchups seem to be Strength vs Deficiency. What I mean by that is many of these fights, The opposing fighter will hold a clear strength where the other fighter holds a weakness. So with that said it will basically be a card of game planning, who gets what they want first, and who can really adjust when they don’t get what they want. From a DK standpoint nothing on this card would shock me when it came to the nuts lineup. I can see the obvious coming in and I can also see some total shots in the dark flying in. So you want diverse exposure in numbers. There are not many clear fades here outside of a few that you will see listed below, so play the power in numbers game and scatter yourself. As far as Vegas I am giving you a few different avenues. I look into bets that I feel have great value. Good Luck! Show me some Screen shots this week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UFC Fight Night: Thompson vs. Till

I don’t love this card, and being in Liverpool, a lot of these fights hold no real significance. Play around with lineups here and get exposure in the oddest of places. There isn’t much value here, and the card seems to be priced out high on some fighters, but correctly on others. It is a nice Sunday start so we have coffee, breakfast, and we watch fights. For those that can’t watch, I will have you covered on Twitter, round for round...

Ok Guys… We are in Brazil, so you know what that means… Get ready for a very odd card, most likely, if it is decision heavy. I did something new this time… You now see who the Brazilian Fighter is and each fighter's record in Brazil under the UFC Umbrella. You have all you need in this package to gain a very good edge, guys… There is nothing else you need… Go Eat… Missed you Bastards! Let's get back on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Side Note: I also added at the very bottom a small breakdown of the Big Boxing Event this weekend so be sure to keep reading…

 Bellator 198: Mir vs. Fedor

Frank Mir vs. Fedor This is a fight that the OG’s of the game will admit that it should have happened years ago. With that said we are getting it now when both fighters are far past their primes. Instead of seeing 2 of the best heavyweights in their time we will see two legends that have clearly diminishing skills, diminishing durability issues, and even the turbo switch of war is clearly rusting away for both men. At one time these men were titans in their own perspective companies.

Ok Guys… Here ya go… Early start time so let's make some money to start the weekend right. In the DK section, be sure to see the number in parenthesis. That is the weight in 10 lineups that I am comfortable with rolling with for each fighter. Good luck and I will see you tomorrow!!!

UFC 223 - Nurmagomedov vs. Ragin' Al
Posted by Michael Iurato on Saturday, April 7, 2018 - 16:59

What a fucking turn of events… I feel like I have not slept… What went from a beautifully laid out 14-page article has crumbled right before my eyes, hour after hour. I fired up the coffee pot, lit up the lab again, and got to work… What I will say about this card is this. There will be a lot of ties with people really sticking to the common theme. The fights dwindled and the pickens will be thin, so the chances of tying will be plentiful. Ride the wave, but also be different. Try and differentiate yourself in tournaments. There are plays out there that might be ignored and there will be a diamond in the rough somewhere on this card. This card is going to be completely haywire and we just have to make due with what we have to work with. It wasn’t what I was hoping for, but let's see if we can put a fork in this pig and win some cash… Also, we are still doing the signed Holloway gloves from our good friends over at Alliance MMA for our seasonal subs. So if you are not a seasonal sub, get in there and upgrade. This is a great and unpredictable card where anyone has a shot at the signed glove of a possible future Hall of Famer...
