 Benny's Belmont Preview - 6/9
Posted by Benny Ricciardi on Saturday, June 9, 2018 - 10:45

The Belmont Stakes is the third and final jewel of the Triple Crown and often referred to as the Test of Champions. It is not easy for a young racehorse to go a distance he never has run before and likely will never run again (12 furlongs = 1 ½ miles). It also is not easy for a horse that often runs once a month to win two races in 14 days and then comes back 3 weeks later and runs a third big race to win. American Pharoah became the twelfth horse to pull off the Triple Crown a few years back, but 23 other horses have come into this race like Justify off of back-to-back wins in the Derby and Preakness only to have their hopes squashed in the Test of Champions...

 2018 Belmont Stakes Betting Guide - 6/9
Posted by Brandon Lynn on Saturday, June 9, 2018 - 10:30

The final leg of the Triple Crown is here, and by now if you have talked about it at all with even a casual fan that watches horse racing only from the first Saturday in May until there is no Triple Crown candidate or the most diehard fan that grinds 350+ days a year, one thing is for sure……They ALL have an opinion on Justify’s chances to join history.

I have heard opinions ranging from “I am just not impressed with this horse” (what more do you need to see?) to “yeah, but if the Preakness was a 16th longer” (it wasn’t, and I am in the camp that would have taken Justify for that extra distance once he saw Bravazo), then “Yeah, but look how slow the time was” (try running in wet sand with someone bugging you for 100 yards, let alone over a mile).

What we are left with is...

 Welcome to The Mafia

WELCOME TO THE MAFIA,

  • Make sure to follow @GEArticleUpdate on Twitter and turn on notifications, it sweeps the page and sends out notifications if articles change every 5-10 mins (thank RNEU in chat),  My picks usually come out around 6:30p-6:40p for the 7pm games, and then within 30 minutes of first pitch for night games. @MLBModel and others will usually have their picks out REALLY early to get the best lines they can. Rob posts daily before 9am before the market moves.  It is just a different styles. They want value on all their lines (which everyone does), whereas I spend all day digging for bits and pieces of info before I make my plays.  Rob and them have computers which calculate their edges while I am more of an old school "lemme dig in til the buzzer" type of guy. Different strokes for different folks. Bottom line is we all kill the books, with all different styles, so get in where you fit in. Check the records in the articles!

 Preakness 2018
Posted by Brandon Lynn on Saturday, May 19, 2018 - 18:48

It’s time for leg 2 of the Triple Crown.

The Preakness of 2018 is not the Preakness I remember growing up. These days, the top horses outside of the Derby winner tend to skip this leg, some horses that don’t belong show up to take their crack at glory.

 Cheetah's NBA 3-Pointer Prop Bet
Posted by Preston Johnson on Thursday, May 10, 2018 - 10:13

PRESTON JOHNSON

I am giving anybody that wants action +200 (2 to 1, so I am laying -200) that I can't make 20/67 (or more) 3-point shots from the NBA 3-point line. This stems from a prop that @Stuckey2 was seeking action for after the Rockets/Jazz Game 4 only combined to make 17/67 3-pointers.
